This method works at its best when all of the students have access to a computer
Introduction
an explanation of what is needed to meet the objective, all of the neccesary information, including visual, textual, audio and video if possible Access to the success criteria, it is best to keep the objectives short and easy for the students to recognise when they have met the objectives.
Resources
The resources consist of Layout documents, Examples, Tutorials and Syllabus or Success criteria.
Post
The results are posted to the VLE for marking, A short turnround time is really essential, a week should be the maximum.
Assessment
The Teacher/Tutor/Assessor marks the work and provides feedback. Most VLEs will email the student with a link to the assessment and mark. Unless this is a terminal test, students should be refered back to the information section if they did not meet the pass criteria and given appropriate feedback so that they can try again
