Remember or Research

Yesterday I was working on a survey at the QCA http://www.qca.org.uk/qca_18259.aspx the content of which is what should be in the ICT exams – taken by 16 year olds – from 2010 onwards. for 25-35% of the marks is ‘Recall, select and communicate their knowledge and understanding of ICT’ the word that brought me up short was ‘Recall’ that means remember. Remembering information is less important than researching for it. Read more
